About Kerb
Kerb is a vehicle history intelligence service that provides plain English interpretation of publicly available MOT and vehicle data. By using Kerb you agree to these terms.
What Kerb provides
Kerb retrieves and interprets vehicle data from official UK government sources including the DVSA and DVLA. Our AI provides plain English summaries to help you understand vehicle history. All data is sourced from official government APIs and is accurate at the time of retrieval.
Limitations of our service
Kerb reports are for informational purposes only. We do not provide financial advice and our reports should not be the sole basis for any purchase decision. We strongly recommend a physical inspection by a qualified mechanic before purchasing any used vehicle. Kerb accepts no liability for decisions made based on our reports.
Vehicle data reflects records held by the DVSA and DVLA at the time of the search. We cannot guarantee completeness or accuracy of government-held records.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- —Use automated tools to scrape or bulk query the service
- —Attempt to circumvent usage limits
- —Use the service for any unlawful purpose
- —Resell or redistribute our reports without permission
Free and paid accounts
Free accounts are limited to 2 checks per calendar month. We reserve the right to change pricing and limits with reasonable notice. Anonymous users are limited to 1 free check.
Billing and payments
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in advance via Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically on the same date each month unless cancelled beforehand. Check packs are a one-off payment and credits never expire.
If a payment fails, we will retry automatically. Continued failure may result in your account being downgraded to the free tier. We do not offer refunds on subscription fees for partial months, but you will retain access until the end of your current billing period after cancellation.
Intellectual property
The Kerb platform, branding, and AI-generated report content are owned by Kerb. Vehicle data is sourced from UK government APIs and remains the property of the respective government bodies.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from your account page. If you need assistance, contact us at [email protected].
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
